16 Hours in mexico city

Protesters, most of them teachers from across the country, are upset with the Mexican federal government's new education reform bill and its continuing privatization of other public services. They gathered in the thousands on May 25, 2016 in Mexico City's historic downtown to march in a demonstration. Past protests had turned violent and riot police were out en masse. Despite the tension, life continued in Mexico's capital, as businessmen, families, couples and friends went about their days.
